The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Communication Consultant.
The Position: The consultant will work with the interdisciplinary social science team to consolidate key findings and develop communication materials (blogs, briefs) to a wider audience in the agriculture and development sectors for greater visibility and impact in sub-Saharan Africa.
Key responsibilities:
- A blog on youth videos.
- An outcome story on gender and pest & disease management.
- A brief on gender, seed systems and marketing (the targeted audience = seed companies).
- A blog on triple S
Selection Criteria
- At least a master’s in journalism, communication or related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in writing articles and copy editing.
- Experience in working with international organizations.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills in English.
What are the conditions?
This is a national consultancy position limited to Ugandan nationals and permanent residents only. The consultancy will be for a period of 3 months.
